I told you a new video blog would be here soon thanks to Spencer Norris. This is video blog number six for DerekGrasman.com. i know it had been a long time since one so I am sorry for that but I hope you enjoy it. The weather has been awful down here so it’s been awfully hard to get shots but here is what we got.
I probably posted this awhile ago but I never actually had the video. It was always a link to Alliance. Now I have the actual video. This is a video me and Spencer Norris made this summer. We had to make a web video for Alliance and we both wanted to do something different. So I decided to take our normal kind of steep rooftop rail and use the up ramp to gap over the down ramp. It was a forty foot gap and I ended up having to go around 36 or 37 to actually clear it. Spencer Norris made it so you know it’s good editing. Check more of his shit out at www.witproductions.com. This world is crazy. Ten years ago social networking barely existed and now look at us. Facebook, Twitter, blogs, Loopt and MySpace even exists still. And they are not dying out yet. You can literally see what anyone is doing at any moment in the day. It’s crazy. Imagine spending a week without your cell phone. It would be nearly impossible to do anything. Like I said CWB is in town to film the clinic series. We also did an amazing lifestyle shoot tonight. Stev Bates got a new camera. The Canon 7D. It’s amazing to tell you the truth. So we were messing around with that tonight and came up with some pretty amazing stuff. Queue the smoke machine Spence. I made that awesome American Flag tee shirt for Trevor too.
The entire CWB team was in town this week. Even Gabe Lucas. We have been tons of shooting for the clinic series. Well we have been getting as much as the weather will allow. CWB_TV is the first and the funniest video blog by a board company. And it’s awesome. This little video is just a preview filmed by Trevor Hansen. Did you know Robby Carter reads a lot. He has been staying at my house for the past week and every time I would walk downstairs he would be reading. I also read a lot. Especially when I am traveling because it’s the best time for it. It totally grabs your mind and you aren’t constantly checking the clock like you would during a movie. I just think it passes time way better. My only problem is once I have read all the book from one author it is nearly impossible for me to find another that I like. One day I was just walking through the airport and picked up this book. “When You Are Engulfed In Flames”. It was at all what I thought it was going to be but I couldn’t put it down. It is more a comedy. Short stories from the authors life as a very awkward person. I have read most of his books and they are all very good. Check it out. “Dress Your Family In Corduroy and Denim” and “When You Are Engulfed In Flames” by David Sedaris.

Seeing that November is actually Movember and everyone grows out their stache or beard out for the whole month. Maybe we can all get some inspiration from this little baby.
